Zazz is an wonderful actress, singer, and songwriter. She’s performed in theater, concert and cabaret venues. She’s appeared on Late Night with Stephen Colbert and in the HBO documentary Master Class with Bobby McFerrin, and she’s toured with the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Here's how she came to be a guest.
I first came across Zazz when I interviewed Will Healy, a fabulous musician, about a year ago. One of the works that he gave me for the Songfest was a Zoom video by his group Shouthouse and it featured a terrific singer. I told him that I really liked the video, particularly the singer. And he told me that the singer was Zazz. And then some months later I interviewed the incredible rapper Dizzy SenZe on the show. She also performed with Shouthouse and she sent me the same video, the one with Zazz singing. I knew that I had to have her on the show and she introduced us.
